PAYMENT
Rental Period: Rentals operate on a 24-hour basis.

Payments: Rental payments are made in advance. Non-rental payments are invoiced separately and must be paid upon receipt via email or WhatsApp. Overdue payments may incur additional charges.

Outstanding Debts:

• 20% fine if unpaid 10–20 days after invoice
• Additional 30% fine if unpaid 21–30 days
• Additional 50% fine if unpaid beyond 30 days
  AIA Cars Rental reserves the right to pursue legal action for non-compliance.

CONTRACT EXTENSION POLICY

• Customers may extend their rental contract during its validity at the original rate for the extension period.
• If the contract is extended after expiry, a surcharge will apply as per the rental agreement.

Deposit Policy During Extension:

• For refundable deposit: no additional deposit required during extension
• For deposit-free option: charges apply for each extension period

VEHICLE CHECK-OUT & CHECK-IN REPORT

Upon vehicle check-out and check-in, the Hirer must verify and sign the inspection report.

Damage Charges:

• Dents and scratches will incur charges based on severity of the damage.
• Interior stains, marks, or pet hair will result in a cleaning fee ranging from AED 300 – AED 1000.

Other Charges:

• Smoking in the vehicle is strictly prohibited and will result in a fine of AED 250
• Torn seats, holes, or interior damages will be assessed with a minimum charge of AED 700

Fuel Policy:

• Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as received.
• Refueling charges will apply based on prevailing prices plus AED 10.

Loss and Liability:

• The Lessor is not liable for any loss of goods or items left in the vehicle.

Lost Keys:

• Charges for lost keys vary depending on the vehicle category.

INSURANCE

• The Hirer agrees to pay AIA Cars Rental for any incident resulting in damages to or loss of the vehicle, up to the excess amount specified (currently AED 1000), or the actual cost of the damage or loss, whichever is greater.
• If the Hirer has opted for Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) by paying the additional fees as per AIA Cars Rental’s tariff, AIA Cars Rental may waive the Hirer’s liability under this condition.
• If the vehicle is used, operated, or driven in violation of the terms of this agreement, the Hirer will be liable for the full cost of any damage or loss.
• The insurance coverage will be void if:
• The vehicle is driven by an unauthorized person
• The Hirer violates UAE traffic laws
• The vehicle is used for prohibited purposes

TRAFFIC FINES & VIOLATIONS
Notification of Fines:

• AIA Cars Rental will notify customers of any fines within 24 hours of receipt.

Payment Responsibility:

• Customers must settle fines within 24 hours of notification.
• Alternatively, AIA Cars Rental may pay fines on behalf of the customer, subject to a service charge of AED 50 per fine, which must be reimbursed within 24 hours.

Late Payment Charges:

• AED 100 per day for the next 2 days after delay
• If unpaid, contract will be terminated and vehicle retrieved + AED 300 inconvenience fee
• AED 500 per day for the next 4 days
• AED 1000 per day from the fifth day onwards

Legal Action:

• AIA Cars Rental reserves the right to take legal action if fines remain unpaid after 10 days.

Impounding Fines:

• Customers must pay all impounding charges, a AED 250 inconvenience fee, and loss of rental charges for the impounded period.
• Additionally, a daily fee of AED 100 will apply during impoundment.

Customer Obligation:

• Customers must provide accurate contact details.
• AIA Cars Rental is not responsible for issues caused by incorrect information.

VEHICLE MISUSE

• The vehicle shall always be driven with care and consideration.
• Prohibited Uses:
• Be used for illegal purposes
• Be used for racing, rallies, or speed testing
• Carry hazardous substances
• Be overloaded or improperly loaded
• Tow other vehicles unless authorized
• Be used for commercial passenger transport without permits
• Be driven under the influence of alcohol or drugs

Driver Restrictions:

• The vehicle must not be driven by any person who:
• Is not properly licensed
• Has provided false information
• Is under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Has undisclosed serious driving offenses
• Is under 21 years of age

TERMINATION

• AIA Cars Rental reserves the right to terminate the agreement under the following circumstances:
• Non-payment or overdue payments
• Breach of contract terms
• Misuse of vehicle
• Early termination by the Hirer
• Upon termination:
• AIA Cars Rental may repossess the vehicle without prior approval
• No refunds will be issued
• The Hirer remains liable for all outstanding dues
• If the Hirer fails to respond for two consecutive days, AIA Cars Rental reserves the right to repossess the vehicle and recover losses without liability.

SERVICE & MAINTENANCE

• The Hirer is responsible for ensuring timely vehicle servicing.
• Failure to service may result in charges for damages
• Repairs must not be carried out without approval
• Tire punctures and damages are the Hirer’s responsibility
• Replacement vehicles are subject to availability

VEHICLE RESPONSIBILITY

• Mileage is determined by the vehicle odometer
• The Hirer must keep the vehicle safe and secured
• Any damage or malfunction must be reported immediately
• The Hirer must not:
• Sublease the vehicle
• Modify the vehicle
• Use the vehicle in a way that causes further damage
• Accident Fee: An administration fee of AED 200 applies per accident

DEPOSIT REFUND FEE

• All deposits refunded via bank transfer will incur a processing fee of AED 20

DEPOSIT OPTIONS

• Customers may choose between:
• Refundable deposit
• Non-refundable deposit insurance option

LEGAL

• This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
• Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Emirate of Sharjah
